Having a courthouse wedding ceremony? Yay! Unsure of what to wear? I have some ideas! I actually had a courthouse wedding and wore jeans and a sleeveless blouse. I think it totally fit my personality.

At the courthouse in which I did my paperwork and vows; everyone dressed very casual such as myself. I seen only one lady in an actual formal ball gown; so wear what you want. It's your special day and I doubt they'd kick you out if you showed up in a full on princess-style wedding gown. Do your thang! Just do not forget to have people take photos of you and your honey like I did. Our officiant also had a little tip jar he mentioned after our vows; so bring them a little something to say thanks!

I bet if you go with a business-casual look; you will be fine. Maybe after the courthouse get all glammed up (or comfier) and have a dinner or romantic night alone. Congrats on your upcoming courthouse nuptials! I think courthouse weddings are amazing as you can save so much money skipping an expensive wedding.

Some couples would rather use the money they would spend on a pricey wedding...on property or a lavish honeymoon. And I do not blame them! Do what works best for you or a mix of a courthouse ceremony and your actual larger wedding.

I wish I would have wore a cute little veil and carried a small bouquet but those are some other cute ideas.
